I toiled day and night for a significant amount of time deciding what message to convey to you – my prospective clients. After a great deal of contemplation, I decided not to mention my experience; I chose not to share successful cases from my past; and I elected not to tell you about certifications and awards that I have received. Rather than giving you the same information you would find on most other attorneys’ profiles, I am going to explain what compelled me to become an attorney; I am going to share my reasons for waking up in the morning and doing what I do; and I am going to memorialize my personal commitment to my clients.
I am an attorney today because of two men that I have respected and admired from childhood until this very day. Honest, hard-working people that were/are excellent attorneys and even better men. The first mentor in my life was my father’s best friend for several decades. Our families were particularly close, and I called him Uncle Dominic. Tragically, he was taken from his family as a young man by a drunk driver in the prime of his life. He is sorely missed. The second individual was also a close friend of the family. He assumed Uncle Dominic’s practice after his passing and expanded and cultivated the practice over the following years. Both men had a major influence on my life and serve as quintessential examples of what a lawyer and a man should be.
My reason for waking up and doing what I do is going to sound cliché, but it is the truth. I do what I do because I receive great satisfaction from helping people find solutions to their legal issues. I am not protecting my clients’ civil rights, fighting to keep their family together or to keep them out of prison. My practice focuses on real estate law, business law and estate planning, but that does not mean that my clients do not deserve the same zealous representation and commitment that others are entitled to. I understand that whether your legal matter is large or small, it is extremely important to you. If it is important to you then it is important to me.
My personal commitment to my clients is two-fold. I strive every day to provide exceptional legal representation coupled with hospitality-industry level customer service. My commitment to exceptional legal representation is self-explanatory because all clients deserve quality legal work. My unwavering commitment to customer service was born out of my involvement in the restaurant business. My family was in the restaurant business growing up and I worked in our restaurants beginning as a young boy up to the time that I started law school. Welcoming people in our home and sharing food was always an integral part of our life . . . so important that my father eventually made it our livelihood. During all those years that I spent in the restaurant business, the biggest lesson that I learned was that there is no substitute for excellent customer service. It is that simple. Therefore, it is my goal to bring that level of service to the legal field. To my clients.
Now you know a little bit about me. If you think that I would be a good fit for you, then I look forward to learning about you and what makes you tick. I look forward to working with you to find efficient, cost-effective solutions to your legal issues.
